seat belt lock out relay on a 74 911

I would like to know where the seatbelt lock out relay is located in a 1974 911.
I would also like to bypass this relay and would appreciate tips as to how to do it.

I think it's under the passenger seat. If you pull it you'll have to figure out what wires to connect together to complete the circuit.

I'm not sure if this is what John meant but under the driver seat there's a set of wires that come from the seat pad pressure switch pull the seat wires out of the plastic connectors and connect the two wires that come out from under the rug.

I found my relay in the trunk behind the air blower hoses on drivers side. Way up behind the dash

Regarding seat belts - can you just stick a clasp into the receptacle? I see them on Ebay and they are appear inexpensive. Under $10. Most are from China so prepare for a 10 day shipping window.

Not sure if there is an ignition cutoff associated with seatbelt system. I would suspect not.

I would search on basic trouble shooting threads for no spark. Mine used to not crank at all when my aftermarket alarm would screw up. Dash lights would come on but no starter engagement. If you do have an alarm it may be worth seeing where it is tied in to kill the car.
