T to E Oil tank

Contemplating upgrading my T fuel gauge to the E/S version with oil level indicator. My question is does the existing T oil tank have provision for the installation of the sending unit, or are we talking a new tank?

Paul, the '69-'71 oil tanks are the same for T/E/S - your tank has a plain (blanking) cover which is replaced with the oil level transmitter from an E or S. The parts you need are:

901 641 541 00 oil level transmitter
914 201 891 00 gasket

I also think the M5 screws which hold your blanking plate on will need changing as the ones for the oil level transmitter are longer.
