3.2 Intake Runner Material??

Are the intake runners weldable with a TiG. Anyone know the material?

Yes aluminium.

It welds good. Standard filler rods 5356 or 4043.

Not sure I'd call it "good" but at least doable. I snapped a mounting tab off mine while putting the engine back together. Clean break and tool it to a local Indi shop for welding. Looks ok but will test for leaks before reinstalling.

Thanks guys... I'm looking at doing the Suzuki GSX-R throttle body thing and may use sections out of the original intakes. If the original intake has any value, I'll make the plates out of aluminum billet though.
