where can i find a 12 point allen socket for fly wheel bolts???
i pulled the engine/tranny this weekend. plan to send the tranny out for rebuild and replace the clutch as well. i can't remove the 6 flywheel bolts because i can't find the 12 pt allen socket at my local auto parts store or sears. i'd like to locate one in the area so i can tackle this job now rather than mail order. someone local to me want to loan it out or tell me where to get the tool? exact size? tia.

I'm sure there are cheaper places to get one, but I got one from my local Snap On truck.

Pelican's located in LA, not sure where you're located. It's in our catalog of course:

No offense to you Wayne, but Snap-on has the tool you need for $20. I belive they call it a triple square not 12 pt allen. I bought mine about six months ago and of course it works great.

Well, ha, ours is made in Germany!

Lisle Tools also makes them and I found one at Pep Boys.
