POR15 Parts Cleaner
Has anyone used the POR15 water based parts cleaner? If so, what dilution did you use? The lable says that up to a 10:1 ratio can be used, but I would suspect that would greatly extend cleaning time. Any tips or hints would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Do you mean Marine Clean? I've used Marine Clean many times. The stuff is powerful. I usually mix 50/50 if I'm cleaning something really dirty.
When I pulled my engine last summer, I used de-greaser in my engine compartment. It made a dent in the stuff when I scrubbed. I then got some Marine Clean, mixed it 50/50, and it was like the parting of the red sea. I used a spray bottle, as recommended, and every time I would spray the engine compartment, where the spray stream hit, you could sea the grease/dirt just push away and the paint showed through. I plan to rip my front trunk apart this winter, clean everything with Marine Clean and then go through the wiring installing one of your awesome fuse panels. |

That's the one.......
Yep, that's the stuff. Right now I think that I have it mixed one part cleaner to 3 parts water. It is in a parts cleaner tank with the pump fed nozzle. Should get the job done! I appreciat the reply.
