What kind of oil cooler is this?

The previous owner put this oil cooler on, and it seems to be spitting out oil from the right side of it. I am hoping to get a replacement one that will match up to the already pumbed fittings. It is 21"x6"x2" and the fittings are 3" apart.

Thanks!

if it's a small leak surely you are cheaper off getting it repaired?

Pacific Oil Cooler. They'll clean/repair/test it. FAA-certified for 50 years.

Upon doing some research on how much pretty much any oil cooler costs, it seems repair is a much better option.

Still curious as to what kind it is if anyone happens to know.

Now it turns out a recore is going to cost more than a new one. Can anyone please help me figure out what type of oil cooler this is, so I can buy a replacement thats easy to hook back up?

Thanks!

A picture or two would undoubtedly help with identification...

My Carrera cooler in the fender developed a leak on the welded flange. A radiator/air conditioning shop was able to repair ir it. Leaks in the fins aren't repairable AFAK.

Just get a correct one from elephant racing. I wouldn't bother to fix that one. It looks a bit too restrictive to me.

The problem with getting a new one is that it wont fit in the custom bumper that was made for this oil cooler. Would love to just find this one so I can bolt it right back in, if possible....

Oil cooler

The one at the bottom of the page in this link may work. We have used Mazda coolers in the past for the RS style front bumper.

That looks to be a B&B, which may well be made by fluidyne. As noted it does appear to be restrictive - dual pass and only 5-6 passages each direction. But can't be sure without more information such as the cross section of each passage.

And yes $800 is a lot. More than any cooler we sell new.

If you provide the dimensions of your custom airbox, I can tell you if we have something to fit.
