Want to buy an 88 or 89 Targa...

I just sold my 94 cab and have my heart set on an 88 or 89 Targa. Prefer an 'unusual' color (not red, blk, or white if possible). Most important is condition. If you are aware of any in your area (lower 48), please let me know. I can't stand being Porsche-less . Thanks,

Daryl, I've spent all weekend asking myself that same question!!! Honestly, I'd really like to participate in more PCA events (DE, Auto-x, etc.) and couldn't bear to drill holes for a rollbar (required with the DAS bar), remove the parcel shelf, and then risk the pristine aesthetics of the car on the track. With a G50 Targa, I'll have less $$$ in the car and it comes with a rollbar (but still has an open top). I'll miss that 3.6 torque but I'm really looking forward to a more visceral driving experience and more time on the track. Please have a look at your Sunday paper and let me know if there's anything around that fits the bill. Not many available in the Atlanta area right now. Thanks,
