Fuel Stabilizer if Stored in Climate Controlled Storage
Hey everybody,
Quick question: if you are going to store a 1981 911SC for 3 months or so in a climate controlled storage facility, would you still put in fuel stabilizer? Thanks! |

Yes, the climate control will help eliminate the issue with condensation in the tank, but the fuel will still age and possibly breakdown. Stabil is cheap insurance and can't do any harm.

I have a 944S that sat for two years. Added stabilizer and topped off the tank a few miles before parking it and disconnecting the battery.
After two years, put the battery cable back on the post, and it fired right up! Called my insurance agent on the cell phone to re-instate coverage, and drove it home. |
