A/C evaporator blower relay part number

I finally diagnosed the cause of the short in my A/C system but the local import parts shops can't find me the part I need. It's the evaporator blower relay located in the 'smuggler's box' in the front trunk. Mine has a part number of SR9826 and is says 12volts max 30Amp underneath. The opposite site has a schematic on it. It is a 5 pin relay. Can any of you guys find me a different part number that the parts counter guys will be able to use. Very much appreciated.

Take the relay into the parts counter and ask the guy to cross it in his Bosch relay book.

83sc in PA,

I have a 83sc euro. Here's the info on my A/C relay. This is in the slot I inside the trunk above all the fuses. This could be the relay you need:

21131 - 12 Volt

911.615.109.01

This is a 5 pin relay for the A/C, I dont know if this is for the blower specificallly though or if there is another relay JUST for the blower.

I recently bought this same part from Automotion:
Their part #:910953 $13.95, nice relay, contains an integrated fuse that blows before your relay melts.

Hello

Mostly Porsche uses the round relays. The good thing on them is that you can interchange them ( fool proof ) blind under bad situations where time matters ( race, rally, marriage )

Special relays are mostly in the square boxes.

Now also the square box relays have interchangeibilitys but they can´t be used as logig relays like the round ones.

This relay is a "standard" Bosch "Einbaurelais" with a lash to bolt it on a screw. Those relays where also used by many other Car brands and made by other companys. Say your NAPA will have similar things made in taiwan and in a plastic housing. The tin caped Bosch relays are extreem solid state and will switch even under hard loads. The heat will disapier trough the bolt ( Just an other cool coolar ).

This relay will switch the power for the AC and cut it out while starting. The round relay is only for the condensor fan.

Grüsse
