Difference in rear brake hoses??

Can I use this for my '87 Carrera??

901-355-631-01-M4 = OEM Rubber Brake Hose, rear (sold per each), 911/911 Turbo (1974-83)

instead of this....

911-355-087-00-M4 = OEM Rubber Brake Hose, rear (sold per each), 911/911 Turbo (1984-89)

The 84-89 is out of stock with our host. Curious if there is any real difference between these. (Plus, they are cheaper!)

They should work. The newer ones have a spring type protector around the hose. I believe they are the same length. You could also go with the stainless steel hoses if you want.
