In Search of my Father's 1970 911T
My Father had a 70 911T until about 1980-81 time frame. It was a Burgundy/Purple color. It was located in Central Florida and sold to a gentleman that worked for Johnson Boat Motor Company.
A bit of a long shot but I would like to track down this car. Any help on where to start? Anyone on this forum know of any Purple 70T's around? Thanks in advance for any info. WSP |

If you have the VIN number available, post it here and on the Early S site, and do a google search. You may find something. Good luck.

a unique 'Burgundy/Purple' ish 1970 color was "Aubergine" (eggplant)
that might help in the search - the color is somewhat unique, and becoming rarer. Bill K

It wouldn't likely be Aubergine. IIRC, Aubergine wasn't available until 1972. It was most likely Burgundy.
Good luck with the search, WSP. I hope you're successful finding it.

Thanks for the replies. My Father is looking for the VIN amongst old documents.
We lived in Winter Haven and Dad was the second owner that I know of. Happy New Year and the search continues. |
