Dansk 2in 2out muffler strap - stock?

I've got a loose muffler strap and wanted to order. I saw there are several options and wondering if the Dansk requires the stock strap or something specific for my car. It's an 86 Carrera. Thanks!

Just so happens I have an '86 Carrera with a Dansk 2 in 2 out muffler. I used the stock straps. They are a bit of a hassle to get on as the stock socket head bolts, while long enough when completely tightened down, are a bit short when trying to get things started. I spent a few dollars at the hardware store and bought a couple of socket head bolts that were an inch or so longer. Once you use them and tighten the straps down so they fit the contour of the muffler, you can take them out, one at a time, and reuse the original bolts.

Thanks Kurt!

I should have used the "search" before posting. A lot of info - but I didn't see any additional info about bolts. Good tip.

I have the same muffler and did the same thing...got longer stainless steel bolts from Ace Hardware, made install much easier.

What he said, longer bolts are the key to an easy install.
