easy question
i've been looking for cost effective exhaust upgrades. to improve the resonance of the exhaust alittle. my question is, if i put a cat bypass in. besides improving the hp alittle and creating alittle more ozone, will it change the exhaust note at all?
thanks ![]()

Will get a little louder, not a big change but noticeable.
Another alternative could be to simply knock the stuffing out of the cat, if you don't need to put the cat back on for future emissions tests this could save a bit of money. |

The cat definitely muffles the exhaust some.

Depends on your muffler but not much noise.....worth it for the flow alone.
