Temporary 1972 2.4E transplant into '74 911 2.7 Carrera
I need to do a complete engine rebuild on the 2.7 CIS engine, which will take some time. I also like to feel the 2.4 E MFI engine on the car. I am mainly an MFI fan. The 2.4E engine has its wire harness and has been modified to 190hp.
Some modifications have to be done mostly to connect to the 2.7 engine engine fuse box and electrics. I will use the 915/06 gearbox and clutch set from the 2.7 engine which I think will match perfectly on the 2.4E flywheel. Couple of points that worries me and need advice is how and where to connect the the mfi bosch fuel filter console solenoid and (2) the mfi fuel cutoff switch. Any other modifications that need to be done I will appreciate your suggestions. |

The firts is mount the electric fuel pump to the MFI !!!
Need one fuel pump give 1 bar of pressure for the tank to the MFI !!!! I'm in the similar steep for mount one 2.4 E MFI engine for one 914 !!! |
