HELP!! car just won't start....
My 87 Carrera started and drove fine on Saturday, as usual.
This morning, Tues, went to start it and it turns over just like normal BUT she won't start. Not even a hiccup. Anyone have a starting point or suggestion(s)????? of things I can try

Yes... fuel pump/DME relay located under the driver's seat. Probably needs replaced. See if tapping it or reseating it helps. Buy and carry a spare.
Do a search on the relay on this board. Lots of info re these things going bad. Good luck regards, jlex.

pardon my inexperience, but,
is the fuel pump/DME relay the box that performance "chips" plug into?

The DME relay is next to the DME brain box.
Also, the alarm system may be a problem. To reset the alarm, simply get in your car, lock, unlock, and then lock the doors. Then try to start the car.

DME relay it was !!!!!! Bought a new one, and car works like a charm.....again THANK YOU THANK YOU (being Canadian, I must over emphasize politeness...)
