What is the paint code for Bilstein green?

I want to repaint my Bilstein strut housings with the original green color. Does anyone know what this color code is or another green that is close?

Thanks,

Jon

Actually, that's a really good question.

Does anyone have the exact paint code?

Also, I've heard that Bilstein will rebuild their shocks for something like $55-$60 each. I assume that they come back with fresh paint on them.

Can anyone confirm?

You can indeed send your shocks to Bilstein for reconditioning and even custom valving. Don't know about the paint.

BTW- good ole Krylon green is a remarkable match:

When I had mine decambered and rebushed, Steve A. mentioned that the best color match he could come up with was a "John Deere" green.
