What is the paint code for Bilstein green?
I want to repaint my Bilstein strut housings with the original green color. Does anyone know what this color code is or another green that is close?
Thanks, Jon |

Viper Green -- '225' ... looks pretty close to my eyeballs!

Actually, that's a really good question.
Does anyone have the exact paint code? Also, I've heard that Bilstein will rebuild their shocks for something like $55-$60 each. I assume that they come back with fresh paint on them. Can anyone confirm? |

You can indeed send your shocks to Bilstein for reconditioning and even custom valving. Don't know about the paint.
BTW- good ole Krylon green is a remarkable match:

When I had mine decambered and rebushed, Steve A. mentioned that the best color match he could come up with was a "John Deere" green.
