Nice!
Now the real fun begins!:D |
These are engine drop pics? Wowzers! That's a pretty clean drive train! Just did this myself and am knee deep in the "while I'm in there" projects!
Good job and have fun! |
Thanks guys hoping to just replace the front and rear seals and do some clean up
but will see what happens,it's a long winter. |
Frosty2 , How do you get your engine clean before is lands on the ground? My cleaning products and towels weigh more than the engine so far.
|
No yourelax, last winter I rebuilt my carbs and had the alternator rebuilt so while
It was all apart I done a little cleaning then. Mike |
Ontario and you have no heat? You are very deserving of your handle.
|
Greg not as tough as you'd think I would rather have the heat.
The metal on my heat exchangers was all rusted When I bought the car so I cut it all Off just in case there were holes in the header material. Don't need the fumes in cab. Maybe one day I will spring for a set of SSI's with two in two out exhaust. Mike |
You gotta adjust those valves while that engine is out. Much easier job!
|
Adjusted them last winter with engine in, it would have been to easy to waite
for the engine to be out. But may adjust again while out just because. |
