CIS Microswitch Help
Just wondering if someone can clear something up for me... I searched and found that the throttle micro-switch need to be adjusted to click just after the throttle is moved from it's idle stop. This is how mine is currently adjusted...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1357512184.jpg However, it does not click until this position... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1357512324.jpg Will adjusting the switch to click as soon as the throttle is applied create any changes in the way the car runs? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1357512629.jpg Thanks :) |
I'm guessing there wouldn't really be a change in the way the car runs when warm, because the switch controls the CSV, and when warm, shouldn't do anything.

Thanks so much Ed!
Because my hand throttle is not hooked up, I can't prop the throttle up. Would it make sense to adjust the switch like others have said (to click just after the throttle is activated)? Thanks again. |
Simply put, yes. There appears to be too much travel right now.
