Fixin' a crushed oil line?
Can I take a big old pair of channel locks and squeeze the wide sides of a smooshed front cooler oil line to improve restricted oil flow? My line is still open but has to be under performing. Other threads say replace the line but I a hoping for an easy and cheap partial repair.
Thanks.

Chris,
Remember a post about this in the last two or three months. You might want to do a search and find it. Remember that they heated the line up with a torch and worked most of the restriction out. Joe PS Just saw the post. How to fix a crushed oil line

Joe,
I saw that one (replied to it as well). The fixes require removing the line. I was hoping to do something with the line in place. It seems cracking the line is the problem, therefore the application of heat. I am assuming I cannot use a normal blow torch with oil in the line so maybe I'll just let it be. Think I could heat the line with a torch during an oil change (oil still in the line?) and then squeeze the line into a better shape? Thanks.
