Carrera Vs. 964 door panels.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the door panels of a 964 will fit a 1988 Carrera? Are there any modifications required for it to fit?
I have an 88 with RS door panels and want to put it back to original. By the way, I am looking for two black and complete door panels including door pulls, latches, pocket, lids, knobs, hardware, etc... Preferably in leather.

So, you're wanting to go "original" or you're wanting to go 964????

When I eventually get the door panels I need I will sell the RS panels.

I want to go Original. The reason I asked about the 964 panels is because I see them advertised faily often, and they look identical to the Carrera door panels. Someone had told me that they did not think that the 964 panels would fit an 88 Carrera.
So, I am still trying to confirm if the 964 door panels will fit the 88. Any input???

I know others have definitely made use of 964 panels on a 930. A search brought the following threads...

May not be exactly what you're looking for, but the following link is very cool, albeit involved and custom. That said, 'FLYONWALL9' has done some incredible work with 964 panels in his '87 Targa.
