Headlight trim upgrade?

Let me start by saying I have no desire to do an expensive headlight H4 upgrade

My car is very rarely driven at night, I primarily just drive it back and forth to the golf course 2-3 times a week

As far as I can tell my headlights are stock with the sugar scoopes

I prefer the non sugar scoope look

Soooo can I just buy new trim rings to replace the scoopes?

not the only way ... you could go H5 a bit cheaper but the general feeling here is they don't prefer them ....

or you can go H1 .. your local banker could likely bump your credit card up a few grand to help you get a nice set ...

and last you could look up the threads on the projector headlight home conversions that a few have done here ... have the same glass look but with the projector type inside .. some use cheap knock of style others use bmw or other high end self leveling beams ... o yea they aren't to cheap either .........

But you wanted options ......

It's worth noting that the H5s also require a change in the headlight connector, and that replacement H5 lenses (should you ever break one) are much more expensive than H4 lenses.

The fact is that H4s (new or used) are the easiest and least expensive way to get the smoother, non-scoop look.

I just replaced my rusted out / worned H4s with new H4 units. The look and performance was totally worth it. I do drive at night often though - so to me its worth the $$$

Sugar scoops are the US DOT receptacle for sealed beams. There IS a DOT approved H4 replacement lamp....but you still have the scoops.

Couple of people have done HID conversions....do a search on 'Draco'.
