Are the 911 and 964 interiors interchangable?
Hello
I would like to know if the 964 interior parts (door panels, door tops, pockets, etc) can be installed in a 911 carrera (year 1985). Thanks Miguel |

Door panels - I think yes.
Door pockets - yes as well. Door tops - pretty sure. Good luck. Ken

I think the tops are different. Might "fit" but have a different "look" up front, seen when you open the door; not a solid end where it meets the end of the dash top. Different switch too, I believe, for the mirrors.

door panels
Hi,
Has anyone been able to determine for sure that the 964 door panels fit on a Carrera? I have an 88 with RS panels and would like to replace them with original door panels. I see some 89s advertised as 964 door panels. They look identical to the original 88 panels but someone told me that the 964 will not fit without modifications. Is this true? half true? incorrect??? I need help. I am tired of the RS panels. Thanks, Bill. |
