Bentley Publishers Officially Announces My Book
I won't keep peppering this fine board with self-promotion, but I must admit that I can't stop smiling about this.
Bentley Publishers has put out an official press release announcing my book "Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic." https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=117866673 Click on my name to drill into the "author blurb" page, and on the title to see a book blurb. There's a "keep me notified" button where you can sign up for release info, and a link to my October "Roundel" article where I told the story of how the book deal was 18 years in the making. There are chapters on the '82 911SC, sure, as well as all the BMW 2002s, the 3.0CSi I've owned for 25 years, the Z3 M Coupe, and the daily drivers, but the book is more my life viewed through the lens of cars in a way that any car guy (and the women who love them) will see themselves in. --Rob Siegel

Update on Memoirs of a Hack Mechanic Book
Hi everyone. If it's not too shameless a self-promotion, I wanted to provide an update on the status of the book. Publication is expected in early summer. Bentley Publishers has set up a Facebook page for the book where you can "like" The Hack Mechanic and check on the publication date and my speaking schedule. The FB link is:
www.facebook.com/MemoirsOfAHackMechanicByRobSiegel For these early speaking engagements, since the book isn't out yet, Bentley is setting up a system where, if you come hear me speak, and take a photo of the two of us and post it to the FB page, and then order the book from the Bentley web site, Bentley will cross-reference the pic with your order and have me sign your copy before it goes out. Thanks! --Rob
