battery venting revisited
 

I know this topic's been beaten to death, but in searching the old posts I can't find out whether there is a dedicated battery overflow tube exit point from the cargo compartment. Sounds like everyone just punches through a nearby grommet....?

On my '88 Carrera it goes out the bottom of the front luggage compartment, dedicated. Probably a "fix" from problems with older cars.
