What would you do with this?

Not sure whether to replace the seat fabric with the original, or cover the seats with leather/ vinyl.

Stangely, the cost will be about the same. Be interested to hear any comments.

Cheers

Mr E

I like the look of your fabric. I will be changing mine to leather on the bolsters and headrest and a nice yellow plaid down the center.

I love the fabric for grip but would have the seats recovered in a vintage houndstooth fabric myself...

Since I am a "set it and forget it" kinda guy, I would go with Leather for ease of cleaning and durability.

Given the back seats have the cloth and assuming you don't want to change them. What about doing the blue vinyl on the bolsters.. It looks like the rest of the fabric is OK.. that might be the cheapest option from materials standpoint, but the labor my wipe that out.

I second some version of this idea. Your interior is only original once. The cars with the highest value in their class are the ones with a little more interest, and your interior is more interesting than most. That's assuming you can live with it. -- Matt

This is actually a great idea. Maybe even cover the bolsters in blue leather.
Though there is some worn piping on the drivers seat, so this would need to be replaced also.

Practical solution, but I think it would also look better.....

The replace the blue carpet with black.

I prefer the look/feel of RSA seats. In your case, solid blue cloth fronts, everything else in blue vinyl or leather.

Looks like shag carpet from the 70's. Recover in leather or high quality vinyl.
