This engine was built exclusively for this book. It's eventually going to end up in my 914-6. However, it will have to be taken apart slightly and retrofitted with all of the 914-6 stuff. The only 914-6 part on it right now are the modified 914-6 Turbo valve covers...

All the 2.7 CIS cars had green. The 3.0L CIS cars had red too...

Actually, this baby, believe it or not, predates modern civilization. This statement was made a year after my piano was made:

"Los Angeles has grown so that the auto-apparatus has become an absolute necessity. An automobile can make almost five times the speed of the fastest horses in the department, and can be stopped almost instantly to avoid collision, where running horses would precipitate an accident. Our Krell baby grand was manufactured within the years 1900-1910 - about a hundred years old. Man, that makes my 42-year old 356 look way modern...

My wife took lessons for more than seven year (who knew). I'm a trumpet player by trade (jazz/classical music minor in college, all-state in high school, etc...) but I've always wanted to play jazz piano, like Guraldi...
