Started winter maintenance. I know....it's a little late. But, I've been busy on vacation and being retired. It can be tough at times.

So -

New brake pads - I love how simple it is to change pads on the SC. I'll see if this eliminates the right front from locking up when going hard into a right corner.

Quick tune up, valve adjust and check things over.

Ball joints this time. Still chasing that damn cluck in the front suspension. It gets less each time I replace another part. Eventually............

Was going to set fuel pressures on the CIS this winter, but she runs good. About as good as a CIS can get. Beside, with engine build next winter, no need to mess with it.

Ordered parts from Mr. Pelican and waiting for the FedEx driver to walk up the front steps.

gave the shop money to order all these parts to fix the door jam and sill rust issue and taking it up both sides for future proofing... 1 year after a golf ball size dent on passenger rear fender and finally getting things under way. Will start a separate thread when work begins to document my 'mild outlaw' treatment of 85 ROW carerra

How long did it take to receive them once ordered? I am considering those along with D’Eser and Cobra. Thanks.

This and That

Working down my list...

I Replaced Cigarette Lighter Socket with Dual USB Power Outlet Socket

Then I replaced the broken plastic pieces in my door strikers: Are the plastic pieces in the door striker plate replaceable

And finally, I added some rear tie downs (should make it easier next time I put the car on the dyno):

Took it out for a nice drive in the Edna Valley. Every once in a while I feel like selling it but then it just takes one pleasant drive to snap me out of it.
