I think AutoThority can custom burn a chip for your requirements.
Not sure on the number but I have seen them in Excellence, and the PCA magazine (sheesh, I forgot the name). Anyways, I have the Weltmeister, in my '85. Noticeable upper-end power, no low-end difference. Right around 3000-3500 I get a hesitation then it surges up to 6800 or so. I know it has a higher red-line, So I try to stay below 6k whether at the track or on the street. Have FUN! Good Luck. ------------------ Nick Hromyak '85 Carrera 7 & 9 Fuchs Havin' Fun in Sacramento |

Autothority is the best...(because you can get a chip made with your mods in mind) but don't buy directly from them as they can't discount their products and undercut the retailers.

I've tried both Autothority and PowerHaus (Arizona) chips on my '87. The PowerHaus seemed to produce more mid-range power than the Autothority. Otherwise not much difference. Both vendors burn (program) their chips to suit whatever changes you've made.
