Does any one who keep track of many of how many are still around?

Being the special cars they are, does service track the number and models of Porsches that are still on the road. I know about the S registry and the rare models, but it would just be interesting to me to know how many 78SC Targa's are remaining.

Aww, forget you "traditional" people. I'm cutting the top off mine, sticking a blower stack through the rear window and painting flames along the side. It's my car dangit!

Paul, I think there are a whole lot of SC's left...but I don't know of any registry. Doug might be able to give you a membership number of the SCWDP.

Paul, the figure i have heard is 176,00 911 between 74-89 were sold in north America. The people at Porsches main office told me that they believe at least 60% of those are still around. The figure boiles down to about 50,000 targas, more than enough to start a T-club.
