Dario Franchittis' 911

Dario isn't my favorite driver from the Indycar series, but he is now...he's a fellow '73 911E owner!

It's a sweet ride, I've always been a fan of it. Featured in Excellence back in 2007 when the builder owned it.

Any details of the 3.7L engine? Why not a 3.8L?

Here you go. My good friend Dave did a nice job shooting and writing about Jeff's most excellent hotrod.

3.8's are technically 3.7's. The displacement comes to like 3749cc's or something like that where it's very close to 3.8L's but they round up to 3.8 instead of rounding down. Just like the Ford 5.0 V8 was technically a 4.9 since it was 4949cc, but 5.0 sounded cooler than 4.9.
