Chris... One thing that is not clear to most of us DIY'ers is TDC for the #1 and#4 pistons. Make sure you start at #1 TDC on pully and verified at the distributer. Then rotate and follow the sequence. Of course, a 240 degree rotataion keeps you on the same side of the car.
Again, don't let what's written around TDC for 1 and 4 confuse you (it can be). While the pistons might be TDC. the valves are not positioned the same. Start at TDC on #1 and away you go. |
Piece of cake. Just make sure you have the feeler gauge AND a stubby standard screw driver to set depth.
