Recommendation on front Torsion bar sizing for my '74

Hi guys - I have '74 with a 3.2 and uprated 26mm rear bars. The front suspension is about to get pulled apart to deal with control arm bushings, so now would be the time to deal with the front bars as well.

I'm looking for a good compromise for fast road, but not track, use that will be balanced with my rear bars. I've seen a 21/26 as a recommendation but wanted to ask.

Thanks!

I've been running 21/26 for 10+ years in my 74 with 20/18 sway bars and Bilsteins. I find the handling and balance perfect for road and ax driving. I recently put in a 3.2 and think the balance with the extra weight is still good.

So if you are happy with the 26's, I would suggest 21 for the front.

Mike
