SW Ohio - looking for a Porsche road trip idea

Odd request I know - 15 women are going to invade my house for a baby shower on Feb 9th. I have been told politely to "get lost" for the weekend. OK with me as I have been looking for an excuse to take my Carrera on a road trip. Any ideas for a motorsports oriented fun thing to do with driving distance of Cincnnati? The only wrench in the works could be the weather, but lets assume its ok.

Any great roads to drive in WV? Any cool car museums or car collections? Let me know what you think. Thanks.

You are braver than I am. If I was going on a road trip in February, I would rent an AWD Tourag.

There are lots of great roads in Warren County - we did a fun run last fall that was a blast. The roads up here are free of salt as of today, I was just out driving my 911 this afternoon. I work closer to downtown, and the roads down there were salted earlier this week as the last threat of snow was a southerly storm -- on the way to work there are several big patches of dry salt, so you may want to stay north vs. south (there are some great roads in N. Ky also)

I've got the 'Triple Nickel' on my list to do one of these days - here's a link:

The Triple Nickle - Route 555 | Ohio Motorcycle Roads and Rides | MotorcycleRoads.com

A bit of a drive from Cinci, and it may be also salty this time of year....

PM me, I've got our route map from the fun run that I can email you if you are interested.

If you are headed to WV and want the scenic route...

US 52 along the river. Some nice stretches to light it up, some twisties, some local color and it takes a while to get to Athens/WV. Go skiing when you get to WV.

Enjoy the kitchen pass....

go into south eastern kentucky about 1hr45 from you , fantastic roads in the national forest. little or no traffic and great curves. We go for many a sunday morning drives before the churches let out and it is better or as much fun as the dragon . Best road in the 200 mile radius is the cherahola skyway, little further away though but worth the drive.
