73.5 won't start, please give some suggestions!

Well I just got my 73.5 (CIS 2.4) back from having oil leaks cured among other things. Ran great on the drive home from the shop the Friday after new-years, and sat since then.

Was planning to take it to work this morning, but it won't start. Starter is turning like a champ, but it's not firing, not even trying to fire. Of course this seems like it's 1 of 2 possibilities... no spark or no fuel.

I can hear the fuel pump screaming, and I think I can even hear fuel pumping but not 100% sure. I have had some problems in the past where it had similar symptoms but it's never not started, and previously what it would do was to fire but not stay running. Now it's not firing at all.

The only thing I have touched since bringing it back from the shop (the last time it ran) was I was looking at installing my Pertronix so I had the dizzy cap and rotor off... but I didn't adjust or touch anything just put the rotor and cap back on. Cap and rotor can only go on one way so that shouldn't be the issue. I checked to make sure I actually put the rotor back on and it's there... wires seem snug.

What's the best way to start trouble-shooting this? Is there something common that I should check first? I need to pick up a timing light anyway to set timing after Pertronix install, so that would help me trouble-shoot to see if I'm getting spark.

Other suggestions?

Nevermind!

I went back to doublecheck the rotor, and it didn't seem to be installed as snugly as I expected, so I removed and put back on, and it started on the first crank!
