Central Locking System Light
Hi everyone:
I am new writing to this BSS but always read the posts and they help me a lot. I have a 85 Carrera Cabriolet and the Central locking system light remains on and sometimes blinks when the lights are off. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

On my 85 the light remains on, dimly, anytime the ignition is on. When you hit the locking button it glows about twice as bright, and engages both of the locks.
No idea on the blinking... mine does not do that... JA |

Mine's the same way, Joe. I have no idea what the evil ergonomics engineers were smoking that day in the lab with no windows, but they sure came up with a unique way of letting people know that their doors were locked; perhaps it's a safety issue.
