Turbo Tie Rods

I was at a PCA tech session yesterday and was told I needed new tie-rod ends and to get the turbo tie rod upgrades. I started searching the online catalogues and have only seen the complete turbo tie rod kits and the regular tie rod ends.

Question: can I buy/install just the turbo tie rod ends? Or do I need the whole kit? I have an '87 911 Carrera. Thanks.

Get the whole kit. The benefit of the turbo tie rods is not the ends, it's the fact that they don't have the soft rubber middle piece that the other tie rods have. This will give you a more positive road feel and responsiveness.
