Beautiful, clean motor. I notice that you have fitted the braided plug wires, do you recomend these? I know that their benefits have been debated here. Thanks.

If you want to see a Purdy motor....
In the process of a carb conversion myself. I'll post some pics in a few weeks. I know it will be Purdy - hopefully it will be good look'n too. LOL

Ah ha! That is where the beauty in this engine lies! It's not going into a car for a long time...
The fan and housing were bead-blasted, that's all... Just about everything else was washed. The cad-plated stuff is new... I didn't go overboard with this engine, because this is probably what a typical rebuilt 2.7 liter engine would look like. The average joe will use new hardward here and there, but probably won't cad-plate the pulley, etc... -Wayne
