Check those plastic hot air ducts!
Mine was pretty rough, obviously letting some cooling air escape before getting to the fins on the engine. I decided to give fixing mine a go before I bought a new one for beaucoup bucks. A piece of license plate, a couple of sheet metal screws, and some JB Weld to the rescue! For being almost free, it turned out pretty well.
