3.6 retrofit

I am considering stuffing a 3.6 into an older, maybe '76 or '77 911. The reasons appear obvious, including performance gain. Is this a straight forward operation? Will my existing CIS system work?

Thanks all,

Hello there,
This has been covered a few times, so you can search and find a wealth of information.

I would also check instant G's IG's 3.6 Liter Conversion FAQs

That should get you started. I plan on doing a similar swap once the funds come up.

Search IG, before sending money, and look at all the feedback. There are many places to get the necessary parts.
