Anyone use Alpine SPS-406 in their rear deck?
I need to replace my old factory 4x6's in my 86 Carrera. Has anyone done this with Alpine SPS-406 speakers? Were you able to use the factory speaker grills? Were the speakers shallow enough?

I installed a pair just a few weeks ago. But I don't think my car has stock speaker grills though. Mine are as described in this thread....
Does anybody have these 4x6 grilles? Looking for measurements Regardless, I think it can be made to fit. My whole rear shelf sits on a piece of sound deadening material, so if need be, two small circles could have been removed to allow more depth local to the magnets. |
