Cabriolet Window Replacement

Does anyone know of a resource in the Denver, Colorado area where one could get the plastic rear window replaced on a cabriolet at a reasonable cost? My new to me '89 arrived with a badly discolored window due to sun and what looks like egg damage (I found pieces of shell up under the flap covering the zipper). In the process of trying to clean it I got a little aggressive and cracked the plastic.

I have searched and read some older threads on this forum about people getting a new rear window sewn into their convertible tops in situ, thus without all of the labor (and cost) that comes with removing the top. So far I have not had any luck finding someone willing to do this.

All of the local shops I have spoken with have told me that the top must be removed to replace the window at a cost of $500 - $700. At that point I might as well just spend a little more and replace the whole thing, but the rest of my top is in good enough shape that I believe it has a couple years of life left in it and I’d rather wait to have that done.

Thank you in advance for your help and for all of the other knowledge and insight I have found on this forum!

I believe yours was the post I read from 2 or 3 years ago. I'm willing to drive a little ways to get this done, but probably not as far as SoCal... The car came to me from San Diego and if I'd only known at the time I'd have had it done there before it was shipped. I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience in Colorado and can point me in the right direction here...
