I replace wiper relay 911.615.112.00 and 911.615.111.00 for my Porsche 911e from 1970 because wipers acted so erratically . Unfortunately replacement didn't solve the problem . If the wipers relay are switch on I'm not able to stop wipers in any position of wiper switch. Additional when I switch on the wipers switch into first position they are going like crazy. I thought that after exchange wiper relays it will help but it's not. The switch and wipers engine was cleaned as well.
What can be a problem? Please help. |

try a little pressue on the wiper lever --- I have found mine will do this, but if I just touch the lever they act normal (completely different year though)
I suspect a bad contact in the wiper switch - corroded or a bad ground somewhere else

Wiper relay? Never seen one of those. Maybe remove the wiper motor and take the cover off to inspect the self park contacts plus check the wires to the wiper motor are all making good contact. Sounds like you have eliminated the wiper switch as a possible cause. If they operate flat out in the slow wipe position you either have the wires swapped to the motor or the self park contact is welded shut.

You may be able to clean up the reed switches for the electrical portion; eventually the mechanical portion of the switch itself (e.g. the plastic detents) will get so worn/sloppy that it's just time to replace the whole thing...
