A Quality Resource For Anodizing Wheels?
I thought I might reach out to you guys to see if anyone has found a quality shop or resource for anodizing my Fikse wheels? East coast or otherwise.
Many thanks, Dan |
I know bubkis about east coast wheel shops, but Harvey be the schizzle on the west coast.
Enter the Fuchsmeister |

Thanks guys, Harvey and Reed did come to mind but thought they specialized in the restoration of Fuchs. This is for my set of Fikses. I could be very wrong but I think the both of them outsource the anodizing. Was kinda of hoping to cut out the middle man and deal with the anodizer themselves.
Many thanks, dan |
Check with Wheel Enhancement

I've been to Al's place and spoken with Harvey. They do their own paint and anodizing.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Wheel Disenchantment....overpriced hacks on the best day. |
Sorry mgatepi, I do have to agree with Joe Bob about Wheel Enhancement.
Joe Bob, thanks. I'll give them a shout and see what they say. Dan |
Try and get a hold of Pelican Jeff Alton.
There's a chance he can help you. |
Never Wheel Enhancement. Waaaaaay to expensive. I think they take us (early Porsche community) for fools.
|
Weidman does his own paint/anodizing. I think that's part of the reason it takes so long for him sometimes.

Wow, I used Wheel Enhancement about 3 years ago to restore my Fuchs and they did a great job. Nearly the same price as HArvey and Al and they turned them around in 4 weeks.....maybe they have changed????
