Limp Pedal, SC/915
Initally feeling quite chuffed with myself, having solo refitted the engine & box, piping, lingages, electrics etc, I then discovered that the clutch pedal is all limp. Doh!
Looking at this pic, is the Omega Spring looking right? Or what else would cause this? Cheers ![]() |

Nope......you need to pry it so that it snaps into position.
It should be almost touching the heat exchanger when in the correct position. Unhook the cable first. ![]()

Cheers Pete,
I don't need to remove the short arm? |

Not to get the omega spring into position.
You may have to remove the small arm and reposition it to get your 1.2mm gap. Then re-hook your cable and adjust the gap to 1mm. Make sure the pedal is all the way up before adjusting.

Hmmm, levered round the Omega Spring back into the right position (is just touching on the manifold?) got a nice feeling pedal, then when depressed, went limp again!
The spring hasn't returned fully. |
