Original Ruf wheels - thoughts?

Hello all,
Just curious about my Ruf wheels - if anyone would be interested.

I am thinking about selling my original Ruf wheels that I purchased new in the mid 80s. I am the original owner. The tires with the wheels are Toyo Proxes 235 and 275 40 ZR17. The wheels are 8 x 17 and 10 x 17. The rims are polished along with the back sides of the rims.

I am thinking about changing the rims to 17" fuchs (Lindsey or similar). They are on my 930 slant "hot rod" - tub up resto and heavily modified.

What should I ask for these? Want to sell the tires with the wheels. No miles on the tires - used to roll the car around while I am working on it.

IIRC, some NOS wheels were just being offered in the parts marketplace for $3600 for a set like that.

New, unused. IIRC, NOS Fuchs were being offered at something like $800 per wheel lately.

I would put your set in the $550-600/wheel category. And if I hadn't JUST bought and cleaned up a set of 16x8 and 16x9 Fuchs, I would offer you $2400 (shipped) for the set.
