Well, there's at least one consolation to living in NJ All bets are off about whether the next state administration comes in and changes it back..... |

I have QQ plates on my 930, so I am exempt from all inspections already, but this will help to reduce the lines when I inspect my 4Runner.

I've got NJ QQ (historic, for those who don't know) on my '87 as well, but technically this means the car should be "...only used for exhibition and educational purposes by the owner."

IMHO, whenever I'm driving my 911, it is to educate other drivers, pedestrians, and especially myself about the capabilities of the car, and it is on exhibition every time it is on the street. The change into NJ emissions inspection also pretty much eliminates the need to get the "collector car" registration in NJ for cars that aren't old enough to be QQ, like I did before my car hit 25 yrs old. ------------------------------------------------- 1987 black/black 911 3.2 G50 sunroof coupe w. f/r spoilers, SW 93-oct chip, fabspeed euro premuffler, dansk 84mm 1-in-2-out, no bumperettes & mod rear bumper, euro ride height & bump steer kit, CRD-220, etc. etc. |

QQ plates are a one time registration fee and don't require a front license plate to be displayed as well.

Considering the expense and many hassles of living in Joisey, it's the least they can do!
