Hello

only real men drive 911's and I know that there is no substitute, and our apt is covered with porsche "stuff" so you could say Im a mini enthusiast

I think real man donīt need substitudes. Real man drive fire brigades, emergency, bomb squad or police cars. Being a man says donīt give a damn on status and go your way. I donīt need a car to be a man. But man like to play with power and the illusion to control everything. Look at those poor guys shown in Hollywood movies.

Real man drive what they like and if it is a ricer or a mini. BTW get a Mini and have your own hobby. ( Att: punny ! )

Real man can cook and make there own loundry.

OK most women cook better and work faster with the flat iron. Human being is being not perfect.

I like seeing a woman on this board. We have woman on the german Porsche boards and it is always very amusing and women do see things more realistic. I donīt think woman are to silly to understand technic. They had mostly no chance to grow up with it and most men ( wimps ) think they loose power if a woman grips a wrench or knows the holly tech spec.

Now if you go trough the posts on this board your knowledge on the car subject will rise and you also will find out that 83 sc euro cab isnīt representative. If you need womanpower I can give you some pages and mail addresses from or about mechanic woman.

"The difference between man and boy is the price of the toy"

I "met" the redhead several years ago. Very small talk. Donīt know her origin but she had a very british english. She became model for the official Photoshots made by Peter Vann. The car had the licence S PR 997 and I think they shoot the pictures on Fruaventura or Island. You can call Mr Vann, Mr Burz, Mr Hanneka or Mr Staudt if you would like to hire. But maybe she was a saler and invitet for the shoots ? Didnīt Walmart work that way ?

Grüsse

Lighten up. If we had a life, would we be spending hours on the computer? ;^)

The first post was funny, but WHY are you still here?
Good going pwd72s. . .and on the second troll post.

Oh, the answer, b) about legitimacy.
troll (1) Verb: To incite serious or even heated responses by posting a spoof article in a newsgroup. (2) Noun: The article so posted.

Pinkerbelle,

Do not let these guys bother you, if we did not like girls, just think how boring life would be? I cannot focus on my 911 all the time! Airplanes and motorcycles help a lot though...

Roland was right... its nice to have a girl chime in from time to time. You just need to get your priorities correct and get a Pcar yourself! I love the Mini as well but its not the right car here in the states unless its only in the city.

Joe

PS I iron a lot better than my soon to be ex wife, so someone trained me right!

Roland,
Couldn't have said it better.

Pinkerbelle,
Ya know, you could sell the VW cabrio and get a 911SC...your payment would be about the same, if not just a tad more. I think you need your own toy.

My b/f has an 83 sc, yah the payment might not be bad but if the thing breaks...I'll pass on repair costs, Ive seen what they can do to a check book. Ive got a lot of life to live still, I think Ill wait a while.

Repair costs? I thought that's what the Pelican BBS is for. I don't know if you guys live together or not, but if so, then you'd be fighting over who gets to get online to the BBS first!

The Internet term "troll" actually came from the fishing term "trolling." Which is to drag your bait behind your boat hoping to get a hit.

Someone "trolling" the 'Net puts out bait ("flame bait") trying to get reactions. Any reactions.

This board is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Before my wife met me, she did not know how to iron. I taught her how to iron a shirt with a collar...properly. Now the shirts have "cool" looking "collars".
