The Factory in Marina Del Rey
What was the history of that shop? It seems many mechanics that where there went on to start successful shops in Socal. Who worked there?

I worked for Marc Rothman at "The Factory" from 1985-1991, also on staff prior to my time there was John Williamson, Otto's, another great wrench Jeff Holmberg, who has his own shop doing general auto repairs in Anza. There was a guy before my time named Steve???? can't remember a last name. Marc had a few other good mechanics earlier. We also held the patent and manufactured the C.I.S. "pop-off" valve at that time. Damn I welded up a lot of hole saws. Good memories. Marc the owner (don't know what happened to him) raced IMSA with an RSR in the 70's and early 80's. He was competition director for POC back then also.

I'm not sure about Schneider, but definitely not Pete Z.
