The best Recaro Sport S?

I'm looking for a reproduction set of Recaro Sport S seats for my 1971 2.2T. There seems to be a good few companies out there making them, so I would like to hear opinions on who make the best ones?

I'm thinking about black leather. How difficult will it be to match the rear seats?

And final question - if upgrading from leatherette, what else on the interior should also be changed to leather? Door panels? Dash? Or will they look just fine as it with leather seats.

Thanks
Jason

Great question. I'm looking forward to the responses. I have a similar question with my 73. We have gutted the interior and plan to delete the rear seats with RS carpet, plus RS door panels and all new leather, but still haven't settled on the seats.

ST-Classic makes them pretty nice. I have a set in my 70's RS Clone. Comfortable also but order them soon because it takes awhile to get them.

These look pretty good. The LeMans looks similar to the Sport S.

Has anyone dealt with these guys?

Find some old Recaro SPDs and do them in leather. Way ahead $$ wise....
