Rev limit

Hi all,

Can anyone advise how I raise or lower the rev limiter on a 2.7 motor. The motor has been modified to allow it it to spin up to 7800rpm however limiter kicks in at 6500.

Thanks in advance

Michael

buy a new higher limit rotor

mine is 7200

or get a rotor with no limiter

- awhile back Henry posted a statement that there is a no-limit rotor available

You can disable the existing rotor so it no longer functions to control revs. Just stare at it for a minute and it will become obvious how.
