Rev limit
Hi all,
Can anyone advise how I raise or lower the rev limiter on a 2.7 motor. The motor has been modified to allow it it to spin up to 7800rpm however limiter kicks in at 6500. Thanks in advance Michael |

buy a new higher limit rotor
mine is 7200 or get a rotor with no limiter - awhile back Henry posted a statement that there is a no-limit rotor available Henry Schmidt SUPERTEC PERFORMANCE Ph: 760-728-3062 Email: supertec1@earthlink.net when you get the part number & sorce, please report it back here! .

You can disable the existing rotor so it no longer functions to control revs. Just stare at it for a minute and it will become obvious how.
